Have mylo, will travel.

Santa brought me a Sony mylo for Christmas this year. It picks up WiFi signals to access the internet, so I am bringing it with me to Europe so that I can easily update this blog with trip happenings. Additionally, I can instant message (Google or Yahoo!), check e-mail, and talk to anyone who has Skype (my Skype name is broadwaykatie). That's pretty impressive for something that is small enough to fit in the palm of my hand! It is my intention to update this blog at least twice a day if not more when possible whilst I'm away - check back often!

January 1, 2007 - Depart Raleigh/Durham 6:54 p.m. EST
January 2, 2007 - Arrive London, Gatwick 7 a.m. UK time (Noon EST). Attend the changing of The Queen's Life Guard ceremony at 11 a.m. with Simon Deverell.
January 3, 2007 - Visit the home of Sir Jack and Lady Jane Deverell for the day. Taking the train from Waterloo Station to Tisbury (approx. 2 hour trip).
January 4, 2007 - London. Depart for Dublin early a.m.
January 5, 2007 - Depart Dublin late p.m. and arrive Glasgow, Scotland.
January 6, 2007 - Glasgow, Scotland
January 7, 2007 - Glasgow, Scotland. Arrive Brussels in the early afternoon.
January 8, 2007 - The Netherlands.
January 9, 2007 - The Netherlands (train to Amsterdam).
January 10, 2007 - The Netherlands. Depart for London from Eindhoven in late p.m.
January 11, 2007 - Depart London, Gatwick 12:40 p.m. UK time. Arrive Raleigh/Durham 4:15 p.m. EST.

The North Face jacket I ordered for my trip arrived Tuesday. I bought the purple one!
